RCNS has been sponsoring the San Marin Robotics Club since it's inception in 2008. So proud to continue to help these students compete in annual competitions. They've done well over the years competing against teams that are much better funded and earning invitations to national and international events! Each year the tasks that the robots are to complete change and they have to build a new robot to meet the requirements. Today we heard from representatives of the club to learn of this year's requirements and how they had to design, program, test and repeat to fine tune their machine.

We were so fortunate to have Michelle Detrick and her therapy dog Scout join us on Tuesday. Our first responders are confronted daily with extreme stress, which poses immense mental health challenges. The direct emotional support First Responder Therapy Dogs provide is so critical for these brave individuals to navigate those experiences successfully. Hats off to this incredible organization! Great to mix with Novato Rotarians on Saturday. Rotary clubs of Novato, Ignacio, Novato Sunrise and Novato Evening mingled at the Jonas Center at IVC Campus and even had a small car show to view on the way in. Merical Mule provided entertainment and dance music.

Proud of our club donating $1,000 to the Marin Builders Association for their workforce training program assisting underprivileged students so that they can get into the trades. Rick Wells does a great job connecting local contractors and youth to the trades.
