Troop 42 has been active in the Novato community for more than 55 years. Troop 42 immerses scouts in fun activities and trips.
Most months during the school year we have a trip and/or a hike. Summer camp is also a fun trip and is a fast way for scouts to earn merit badges. We have done various high adventure trips. Some of these trips have included a 50 mile river rafting trip, and a trip to Europe.

Great day at another Eagle Scout Project! Nick Narita’s project was to build benches around a “In Memorial” tree, replacing some very poorly built ones. This project was well thought out; replacing old, treasures spot, and long lasting construction.

Troop 42 coming back from camping in the Redwoods! It rained on us like you would not believe! First meal back, as is our tradition, In and Out Burger!

Troop 42 has three new Eagle Scout! Jared Fuette, Spencer Harkin and Nicholas Ruiz were awarded their Eagle in a wonderful ceremony.

Thank you Novato! Troop 42 held its annual Luminaria fundraiser and Build on Saturday 12/8. It was a great success with over 500 flats built and delivered, that is 5000 individual Luminaria! The community has always supported us and because of them we have funds to go camping, earn merit badges, participate in community events and help scout achieve the rank of Eagle Scout!

It is that time of the year when we build and sell Holiday Luminaria. Go to our web page and order yours now! A single order, or flat, contains 10 white bags, sand and candle to place out on your driveway Christmas Eve. Initial build and deliver date is Dec 8th, with a rainy day back-up on the 12th.
