One last , right down memory lane! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸ₯Ή

Not too long ago, they were the students lining the hallways, looking up to the graduating seniors who seemed so much older and so far ahead.

Today, the NPS Class of 2026 returned to the schools where it all began. They walked past familiar classrooms, saw their elementary and middle school teachers and were cheered on by the students now filling the buildings they once called their own.

For a moment, the years in between seemed to disappear.

The clap out was more than a tradition. It was a reminder of every lesson learned, every friendship made, every challenge overcome and every person who helped, believed and supported them along the way.

The story that began on their very first day in Nyack Schools is reaching its next chapter and we couldn't be prouder of our seniors. β€οΈπŸ–€

πŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’₯ POW! BAM! WHAM! Comic Book Day Took Over the GLC at Nyack High School!

The GLC transformed into a full-blown comic universe as students celebrated Comic Book Day with an action-packed adventure led by Nyack High School Library Media Specialist Amanda Birro.

From comic-themed games and super-powered trivia battles to scoring free comics featuring everyone from Spider-Man to Jack Kirby classics β€” and everything in between β€” there was excitement around every panel turn. There’s so much to explore right here in our community!

Our students have been having an amazing time learning, playing and making memories during their recent field trips around town. From exploring local fire houses and touring pizza parlors to learning in the parks, visiting bowling alleys and so much more, every adventure has brought new experiences and hands-on learning opportunities outside the classroom. πŸ•πŸš’πŸŽ³πŸŒ³

These trips are about much more than destinations β€” they’re about building connections, discovering new interests and creating the kind of core memories that last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to our gracious community partners for always welcoming our students and teaming up with us to make these experiences so meaningful and memorable. Your support helps bring learning to life in the best possible ways.

And the fun isn’t over yet β€” we’re looking forward to many more adventures between now and June! β˜€οΈ

🚨 PENS UP, REDHAWKS β€” THE NEXT CHAPTER IS OFFICIALLY SIGNED! πŸ–ŠοΈπŸ”΄βš«

The future is looking FAST, fierce and full of RedHawk pride as another incredible group of Nyack student-athletes officially committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level! Family members, teammates, coaches and supporters packed the gymnasium to celebrate a Signing Day filled with excitement, memories, gratitude and plenty of proud moments. πŸ¦…βœ¨

From record-breaking runners and standout swimmers to lacrosse leaders, baseball stars, football players and soccer standouts, these athletes have put in the early mornings, late nights, extra reps, bus rides, practices, meets, games and everything in between to earn this. Their signing ceremony was more than just putting pen to paper β€” it was a celebration of years of dedication, perseverance, teamwork and growth both on and off the field.

The speeches and stories shared throughout the ceremony were a reminder that athletics at Nyack is about much more than wins and losses. Coaches become mentors, teammates become family and the lessons learned through sports help shape confident, resilient young adults ready for the next level.
