A Library should be ready for what’s next!

A new Library would include flexible spaces that can adapt as technology changes and the needs of our residents evolve. Spaces could be used in different ways over time, making it easier to accommodate new programs, services, and activities.

Planning for flexibility means making the most of our space and helping avoid costly changes down the road.

There’s a lot happening at your Library, and we’d love to have room for even more!

From kids’ activities and after-school programs to study spaces and community gatherings, the Library brings people together in so many ways. But with limited space, we sometimes have to turn people away from programs they want to attend.

A new Library would mean more room for learning, creating, connecting, and making the most of everything the Library has to offer!

Turning neighbors away from popular programs due to limited space is a challenge we face every day.

Take a quick look at this video. It explains how our space needs are growing and how the library is using five million dollars of its own savings to keep the average household cost at just two dollars and thirty cents per week.

Have questions afterward? Ask away. We are here to help you get the facts.

Please vote on or before Nov. 3.

O’Fallon is growing, and we’re planning for a Library that can grow right along with it!

We’ve been working to keep the cost of a new Library as low as possible. One big step? Saving $5 million that can go directly toward construction, reducing the amount that needs to be funded through the Nov. 3 bond proposal.

It’s all part of planning ahead for a Library that better serves our growing community and gives residents more room to learn, explore, connect, and grow together.

Curious about the plans? Take a look at ofpl.info/referendum!
