Our hearts are heavy following a a horrible tragedy tonight on Chippewa Trail. May we keep
the Rittman Police Department along with their fellow officers and the Rittman community in our thoughts and prayers. It has been confirmed that a Rittman police officer was shot and killed in the line of duty. The suspect and two additional victims are also deceased. Three other officers, including a K9 officer, were injured tonight.

We thank all the agencies and personnel who assisted tonight along with the dispatchers who worked together during a time of adrenaline and many moving parts creating one team out of many.

May God Bless them All
