Happy Dolly Parton Day! This weekend should be great for a little drive to visit one a Storybook Trail at Scioto Trail, Shawnee, or Rocky Fork State Parks.

Happy Dolly Parton Day! As we remember the life and legacy of Dolly Parton, we’re celebrating the joy, imagination, and love of reading she’s inspired in families across Ohio.

Thanks to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Storybook Trails at 22 State Parks bring children’s stories to life along the path — giving families a chance to read, explore, and spend time together in the great outdoors.

Thank you, Dolly, for helping make reading an adventure and for leaving a legacy that continues to brighten Ohio’s trails and imaginations.

The fog settled gently across the water today, creating one of those quiet moments that reminds you why mornings at the lake are so special. Before the beach fills with swimmers, laughter, and sunshine, it's a place of pure calm.
