The County congratulates Mona Miyasato, Chief Deputy County Administrator, on being named Chief Executive Officer for the County of Santa Barbara. The move was finalized by the supervisors in Santa Barbara this morning. Mona has been second in command to the County Administrator Matthew Hymel since October 2008. Her last day in Marin will be in November and she'll start her new job in December. Best wishes and thanks for your service and dedication, Mona!
