Oakland knows ball, and nowhere has that excellence been more apparent than at .elementary, where once again the school is sending one of students to the Big Apple to represent the Town at the 2026 Global Championship! Brookfield 5th Grader Royal Johnson was named to represent the , , and the Bay Area at this year's tournament, scheduled to take place in New York City next month. Royal has been playing Math Hoops since the 3rd grade, and has become both a master player & a natural leader in the game with her fellow Brookfield classmates.
