📚 Meet Annie Hatch, the new Principal at Hillcrest K-8 School!

Annie Hatch’s career in OUSD has taken her from teaching at Life Academy to becoming a pathway coach and assistant principal at Madison Park Academy, and now, she steps into her first role as principal at Hillcrest TK-8 School.

“There’s going to be a lot of learning, but I’m really excited about working with younger kids… I’ve been especially thinking about early literacy and how kids learn how to read… I love the fact that the school is TK-8, and I’ll get to know kids for a really long time and watch them grow up.”

With 15 years in OUSD, Annie is stepping into this new role with enthusiasm. “Every day is different, every day is a challenge. I’m always learning things. There’s never a dull moment… I get to wake up every morning knowing that I get to see kids and have awesome collaboration with adults. That I get to have an impact on people’s lives.”

Community Yard Sale in front of Hillcrest Middle School (30 Marguerite Drive) on Saturday December 4th from 8am-4pm. Please come by on Saturday and find that hidden treasure!
All funds raised will offset the cost of the 8th grade field trip to Washington DC in the Spring. Please help us to ensure equitable access so all students who want to go can.
