May is both Foster Care Awareness Month and Mental Health Awareness Month โ€” two movements that, for us, are deeply intertwined. ๐Ÿ’™

In every community, young people with lived experience of foster care are navigating trauma, loss, and family disruption, and the many long-term impacts those experiences have on their mental health.

And too often, the systems meant to support them fall shortโ€”offering only brief, fragmented, impersonal services that rarely make a lasting difference. This is why we need A Home Within.

This month, we invite you to listen, learn, and help us raise awareness about the importance of long-term relational support for foster youth everywhere.

๐Ÿšจ LAST DAY TO GIVE ๐Ÿšจ Until 11:59pm, help us meet Anthony's goal.
Donate today at buff.ly/88UYwsZ.

Today is the final day of AHW Board member, client, and dear friend Anthony Picoโ€™s birthday fundraiser ๐ŸŽ‰ โ€” with a goal of $37,000 to support free, long-term therapy for people with lived experience in foster care.

Weโ€™ve already raised over $12,000 -- enough to onboard two dozen therapists! Directly improving the lives of people who have lived in foster care.

If youโ€™ve been following along, this is your chance to jump in and help close the gap. Every gift โ€” regardless of amount โ€” brings us closer. ๐Ÿ’– Letโ€™s finish strong!

These final two days make all the difference!! Letโ€™s close the gap and rally around foster youth with Anthony ๐ŸŽ‰ Donate at https://buff.ly/zj1lEtg

For his 37th birthday, Anthony Pico is raising $37,000 to provide free, one-to-one therapy for young people who have experienced foster care. So far, we've raised $11,500. Thank you so much to those who have already donated. Together, we can reach the goal by April 30!
