OAACC accomplishes its mission to incubate and accelerate economic viability for small businesses in and for the City of Oakland, and its surrounding areas, in three ways:

🌴✨ Caribbean Culinary Excursion: Food & Fête ✨🌴

Get ready for an elevated, immersive Caribbean culinary and cultural experience unlike anything else in the Bay Area.

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the richness, diversity, and vibrant spirit of the Caribbean Diaspora through exceptional cuisine, live entertainment, culture, and community.

Guests will embark on a culinary journey featuring curated tastings from Caribbean chefs and vendors representing various islands and regions, plus an exclusive VIP Caribbean Buffet presented by Chef Ann of CocoBreeze and Chef Nelson of Alamar, Sobre Mesa, and MeskiSF.

The celebration continues with an electrifying entertainment lineup featuring internationally acclaimed Soca artist from Trinidad & Tobago, world-class steelpan performances, live DJs, a saxophonist, Carnival dancers, Brazilian Samba performers, and drummers. Dance the night away to Soca, Dancehall, Afrobeats, and Latin rhythms.

The evening will also honor community trailblazers through a special awards presentation recognizing and other distinguished leaders making an impact in our communities.

As part of our National Caribbean American Heritage Month celebration, Caribbean Culinary Excursion: Food & Fête is an immersive adult experience designed to celebrate culture, connection, food, and joy.

This Wednesday out members of the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce proudly activated all across the Town celebrating Mayor Barbara Lee’s one-year anniversary, panels with keynote speakers at our new HQ., activations at the iconic Henry J. Kaiser Center for the Arts to the beautiful gala at Children’s Fairyland.

Our members continue to represent Oakland’s culture, business, creativity, and community leadership in every room they enter proving once again that Oakland is alive, thriving, and more beautiful in person. ✨

These moments are also part of the value of Chamber membership: exclusive invitations, meaningful connections, and opportunities to be part of the conversations and celebrations shaping our city.
