Medicare’s Drug Price Negotiation Program launched this year with the first 10 drugs released, with 15 more Part D drugs set for 2027, and another 15 Part B and/or Part D drugs for 2028. All negotiated drugs must be included on Part D plan formularies, and lower out-of-pocket costs are expected as coinsurance and copays may decrease based on the negotiated price.
