Dr. Betty Shabazz was more than the wife of Malcolm X.

She was a mother, a survivor, an educator, and a woman who carried unimaginable pain with dignity. After the world watched Malcolm fall, she was left to raise their children, protect his legacy, and still build her own.

That kind of strength does not always scream. Sometimes it stands quietly, raises a family, teaches the next generation, and refuses to let history erase the truth.

Dr. Betty Shabazz represents the women who carried movements on their backs while the world only remembered the men in front of the microphones.

Today, we remember her not as a footnote to Malcolm X, but as a powerful Black woman who stood through fire and still remained graceful.

Rest with the ancestors, Queen Mother.🎂
