The Alameda County Assessor’s Office joined local leaders and community members in celebrating the grand opening of Kura Revolving Sushi Bar in the City of Union City.

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar ( ) brings a unique dining experience to the community while creating local jobs, supporting economic growth, and adding to Union City’s vibrant business community. We congratulate the Kura team on their grand opening, and we look forward to seeing them become a favorite gathering place for residents and visitors alike.

Last Thursday morning, the Alameda County Assessor’s Office attended the grand opening celebration for Ace Hardware and joined community members in welcoming this new addition to the City of San Leandro.

We congratulate the ACE Hardware team and wish them continued success for many years to come. This investment will help serve local residents and businesses with trusted products and services while contributing to the growth and vitality of the San Leandro community. We look forward to seeing Ace Hardware become a valued community partner and a lasting part of the city’s continued economic development.

The Alameda County Assessor’s Office staff supported at the “Pathways to Success” Award Ceremony at James Logan High School last week. It was inspiring to celebrate as more than 165 students received scholarships to bolster their college journeys and future success.

Assessor Phong La, a proud James Logan High School graduate, has been giving back to the community by personally funding three scholarships for several years and helping local students achieve their educational goals.
