We had the joy of celebrating the incredible volunteers from our Immigration Team at Catholic Charities during our picnic at Lafayette Reservoir. Behind every application, every phone call, and every act of support is a volunteer choosing to walk alongside immigrant families with compassion, dignity, and hope. Your generosity of time and heart helps people feel seen, welcomed, and supported during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

We’re still feeling the joy from the Seeds of Love Fundraiser with St. Isidore School. Students came together to celebrate kindness, generosity, and the special people who nurture and support them every day. Through their participation, they helped spread love throughout the school community while supporting programs that help families thrive.

Last week, one of our immigration clients came in to pick up her green card! After over a decade of perseverance with the immigration system, she is now a permanent resident. With the dedicated support of the Catholic Charities team and Angela, our Immigration Paralegal, we were able to reach a long-awaited milestone and take an important step toward stability and belonging in the country she has long called home. Her presence always brightens the office, and her warmth, resilience, and positive spirit leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets.

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the neighboring organizations who joined us at our event today. Thank you for showing up, sharing your expertise, and providing information and immigration legal services to our community.
