What is MDLA⁉️
MDLA is more than a camp. It’s a life changing experience built on mentorship, accountability, leadership, brotherhood, and opportunity.
Every year, our staff and volunteers come together with one mission: to invest in young men, create lasting memories, and help change lives. From leadership workshops and team building to recreation and real conversations, MDLA continues to make an impact that extends far beyond one week.
We are counting down to MDLA 2026 and we are ready. Thank you to every mentor, volunteer, officer, teammate, and supporter who helps make this mission possible.
We still have a few slots left, so to sign up for this year’s camp, (June 2nd - 6th), please send us a DM or email us at [email protected] for more information.

In practice, the OK Program operates as a comprehensive Life Support System that surrounds Black boys with consistent guidance, accountability, and care across school, home, and community environments. Beginning on school campuses, OK Program Officers work closely with families, educators, and community partners to support students academically, socially, and personally.
Through classroom engagement, guidance sessions, home visits, after-school and evening support, conflict mediation, and Saturday KIC’IT Sessions, young men receive continuous mentorship and early intervention, while their growth and achievements are recognized and celebrated. This coordinated approach allows the OK Program to address challenges before they escalate, reduce risk, strengthen families and schools, and empower young men with the skills, confidence, and support needed to make positive, lasting choices and lead productive, responsible lives.
