Today, proudly christened our new fireboat, marking an exciting step forward in our commitment to protecting the citizens of Oakland and those who navigate the waters of the San Francisco Bay. Equipped with upgraded fire suppression and rescue capabilities, this new vessel will significantly enhance our marine emergency response, allowing our firefighters to respond more effectively to fires, water rescues, and other emergencies on the Bay.

Early last Friday, responded to a in Deep East Oakland. We are here to serve the citizens of Oakland 24/7.

Two days ago in the area of 51st Ave and Bancroft Ave, responded to a in an apartment building. This video is of the first in engine identifying where the fire is and working to extinguish it in order to protect the citizens still trapped inside. This worked up to a 3 alarm response based on the potential for loss of life and property damage. 24/7, we are here to serve the citizens of Oakland.
