Good Cents for Oakland was founded in 2005 to help students support Oakland. Students have raised over $90,000 for Oakland non-profits.

This picture is from one of my favorite Penny Roundups. Emerson Elementary school was supporting their local food pantry, the Temescal Food Pantry.
Last year's grants were fantastic! Students donated to the Alameda County Community Food Bank and Operation Dignity, an Oakland non-profit serving homeless veterans.
Last year's donations bring us to $90,000 in total donations to Oakland non-profits!
