☑️ Make a Plan: Will you vote by mail or in person? Check your County Voter Information Guide or visit caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov for local drop boxes and polling sites.
☑️ Research: Visit VOTE411.org to see what’s on your ballot and save your choices before you head to the polls or fill out your mail-in ballot.
☑️ Spread the Word: Tell your friends and family to get their plans ready, too!

Yesterday in Sacramento, the League of Women Voters of California stood with the California Democracy Partnership to move the California Voting Rights Act of 2026 forward.

Thank you Senator Sabrina Cervantes for your leadership in authoring the bill package. SB 1164 and SB 1360 both passed Senate committees, a step toward real progress against voter suppression, for language access, and for fair representation.

In less than a month, 2026 Primary Election ballots will start arriving in eligible voters' mailboxes. Counties will begin mailing ballots no later than May 4, 2026. Is your registration up to date?

It only takes two minutes to double-check. You should re-register to vote if you:
🏠 Moved to a new address.
📝 Changed your name.
🗳️ Want to change your political party preference.
✅ Were removed from the registration rolls while in state or federal prison for the conviction of a felony.
