Lerner Clinic is offering free dog spays to students, faculty, staff, and community members through February.

“There's no charge to the client for the spay. Additionally, they can get any vaccines they need, like rabies and distemper, a heartworm test, and a microchip at a low cost. It’s heavily supervised and extraordinarily safe. It's a win-win in terms of helping the community by providing these services for no charge, and they're helping us in training our veterinary students by bringing the dogs.”

Dr. Laurence Sawyer, V99, director of Lerner Clinic

👻 Something wicked this way comes… and it’s a whole lot of TESTOSTERONE leaving the building! 😹💀

This Halloween, we’re trading tricks for snips and helping Rhode Island’s feline gentlemen lose their spooky little family jewels! 🐈‍⬛✂️

Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue is hosting TALES FROM THE SNIPPED on OCTOBER 30TH — a one-day-only event to help make neutering more affordable for local cat owners.

Because the only thing scarier than Halloween is an unexpected litter of kittens! 🎃🐈🐈‍⬛

🦇 THE SPOOKY FINE PRINT:
🎃 October 30th ONLY — no tricks, no extra dates!
🐈‍⬛ Owned male cats ONLY
🏡 Rhode Island residents ONLY
🐾 Maximum of 2 cats per household
🩺 Routine neuter surgeries ONLY
💵 CASH ONLY
👻 Limited spots available!

📝 READY TO GET YOUR BOY SNIPPED?

👉 SIGN UP HERE: https://forms.gle/de6m9FaGyLjJ6J9w9

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Submitting a request does NOT mean your appointment is confirmed. You are not officially booked until you receive a phone call from us. Please wait for that call before considering your spot secured!

💰 THE COST OF GETTING YOUR BOY SNIPPED

Owners must contribute a minimum of $25 per cat, but if you’re able to pay more, we encourage you to contribute what you can!

Your generosity helps us keep this program alive and make affordable neutering available to even more Rhode Island cats. Every little bit helps prevent unwanted litters and keeps more tiny terrors from taking over the world! 😹💜

🖤 A SPOOKTACULAR THANK-YOU TO OUR GENEROUS SUPPORTERS!

This event wouldn’t be possible without the organizations helping make affordable neutering happen:

🐾 Friends of Animals in Need
🐾 Friends of The North Smithfield Animal Shelter
🐾 Volunteer Services for Animals
🐾 Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary, Inc.
🐾 Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue

These amazing organizations are helping us fight the overpopulation epidemic one snip at a time. We’re so grateful for their support! 💜

🎃 Help us make this Halloween a little less hairy, a little less scary, and a whole lot less fertile!

THE BOYS ARE GETTING SNIPPED. THE KITTENS AREN’T COMING. EVERYBODY WINS. ✂️🐈‍⬛💜
