2021: What Is Hope? 2021. New year. New administration. New president. But what does hope look like?

We are SO proud of Oakland native, Kamala Harris, who has made history today as the first woman and first person of color VP! We are so grateful for her decades of service to this great state and now, her service to our country. We have replaced a white supremacist misogynist with a history-making Oakland woman. We did it, y'all!

We have the opportunity tomorrow to elect a daughter of Oakland to the White House - to elect a progressive, powerful, Black and Indian woman as our VP and to vote out a misogynistic white supremacist surrounded by people working every day to undermine our democracy.

We can do this.
