Car riding skills? Excellent
Walking while zigzagging? Supreme
Cuteness? Outta this world

Happy from Cece!

Though Cece can be a little reserved at first, this 12-year-old tortie is still very much in her affection-receiving prime. Once she knows you’re a friend, she’ll meow for your attention, lean into every pet that comes her way, purr with contentment, and respond to a good head rub or butt scratch with the occasional dramatic roll-over for emphasis.

Cece would be a wonderful companion for someone with a quiet home who’s looking for an affectionate senior who knows exactly what she wants—a soft couch, a sunny window, and a human to adore her—and isn’t shy about asking for it.

Like many older kitties, Cece has a bit of dental disease that will need to be managed, as well as a heart murmur that should be monitored by your veterinarian.

Stop by to meet sweet Cece Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.! As with all of our senior pets, Cece’s adoption fee has been waived.

Lucelia had her moment to shine as the Pet of the Week on ! Charming, affectionate, and SO cute, she clearly was made for stardom.

She’s in foster and has been an excellent house guest. This wiggly social butterfly also lived with children in her prior home. Lucelia is about 2 years old and weighs a little over 70lbs.

Check out her profile on our website and submit a questionnaire to meet her!

Fresh towels may seem like a small thing, but for shelter pets, they make a world of difference. 🛁✨

Spa days don’t just help a shelter pet feel clean; grooming builds positive experiences with handling and helps improve their adoptability.

Volunteer groomers, shelter vets and staff use towels everyday and our towel supply is running low. We would be so grateful for donations of new or gently used towels. Every towel helps us care for the animals who need us most. 💛

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter during open hours. Thank you for helping our pets feel their very best!

Like the flower she’s named after, Lavender brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. This petite young brown-and-white tabby mama is sweet, affectionate, and always happy to greet you with a gentle cheek rub. She has a soothing purr, a talent for biscuit making, and an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around.

Now that her kittens are off on their own adventures, Lavender is ready to trade mom duty for a forever home where she can relax, be adored, and enjoy the good life! Stop by to meet this sweet girl Saturday or Sunday from noon to 3 p.m.!

Uh-oh—we’re out of kitten fosters! 🚨

These tiny babies are arriving at OAS every day in boxes, baskets, and carriers, and we urgently need safe, loving, temporary foster homes for them. After all, a cage is no place to grow up!

Can you help by giving these wee ones a soft place to land for a few days or a few weeks, just until they’re big enough for adoption? Many of these kittens simply need time to grow, but some require extra care and support while they recover from illnesses or while they learn that humans are friends. (Those experienced with bottle babies, sick kittens, ringworm isolation, and socialization are especially encouraged to apply, but any experience level is welcome!) We provide food and supplies, medicine and medical care, plus training and guidance to help you every step of the way. All you need is a bathroom or even a corner of your living space, some time each day to feed and care for them, and lots of love. 💕

If you can foster, even for a short time, it can literally save lives. To learn more and to sign up, click the “Foster” link in our bio, then go to “Kitten Fostering” to fill out and submit an application online.

Can’t foster right now? You can still help by spreading the word! Please share this post with anyone you know who might be interested in fostering kittens. These babies, and all of us at OAS, thank you!
