Visit Occoquan 20 minutes from Washington DC, historic Occoquan is full of shops, galleries & restaurants!

Ten must-do attractions while visiting Occoquan:
• Birdwatchers can view herons, eagles, and ospreys along the Occoquan River
• History buffs will enjoy the self-guided walking tour and a trip through Mill House Museum
• Art aficionados will want to wander through the many art galleries in town
• Come hungry! There is plenty of outdoor dining and many restaurants have waterfront views
• Treasure hunters will want to shop for one-of-a-kind items in our unique shops
• Naturalists can enjoy hiking our trails
• Kayaking and boating are perfect ways to enjoy the Occoquan River
• Twice a month throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy a free concert or movie
• Visitors can plan to stay overnight at one of several short-term rental properties in town
• We have ghost tours!

Join us for a Movie in the Park as we present Disney's Coco!

🗓️ Saturday, October 24 at 7pm
📍 River Mill Park, Occoquan, VA

🎟️ $5 each (ages 5 & under are free!). If not sold out, tickets will also be available at the door. Space is limited.

🍿 On-site freshly popped popcorn, movie theater boxed candy, snacks, water, soda, b**r/w**e, and more will be sold as a fundraiser for 501(c)3 nonprofit, Visit Occoquan.

This event takes place OUTDOORS in River Mill Park. Dress for the weather and bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating! Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Bag searches may be in effect. This keeps us in compliance with state alcohol regulations and allows us to continue to provide a bar for this event.

Our final Trivia Night of the 2026 season is next week! The winning team takes home $100 in gift cards to use around Occoquan.

River Mill Park, Occoquan, VA
Doors/bar opens 5:30pm / Games start at 6:30pm

Tickets are $35 per team (teams can be 1-8 people!). Purchase online through the link in the comments or sign up at the door.

On-site bar with b**r, w**e, sodas, and candy. Order and have it delivered right to the park between 5:30-8:00pm!

✓ Lawn & camping chairs, blankets, coolers
✓ Outside food & non-alcoholic beverages
✓ Well behaved dogs

✘ No outside alcohol (this could result in us losing our bar license for these and other events!)
✘ No glass bottles or containers
✘ No grills, fire pits, or flames
✘ No large tents or anything that stakes into the ground

Come out to Occoquan this weekend for our 56th annual Fall Arts & Craft Show! There's tons to do and loads of NEW vendors and activities to choose from:

🛍️ 300+ vendors & 80+ town businesses
🌮 Great street eats & town restaurants!
🎨 NEW: Live arts & crafts demos in The Art Park
🍺 NEW LOCATION: Festival B**r Garden with live music
🖼️ Kids crafts and activities in Imagination Alley
🎤 Family Entertainment, sponsored by
🛋️ NEW: The Corner Lounge, sponsored by

The festival runs Saturday/Sunday (Sept 26-27) from 10am-5pm in historic Occoquan, Virginia.

🚘 Roads and parking in downtown are closed during the festival. FREE parking is available in 3 nearby lots. Walk into town or take the shuttle for $10 roundtrip (kids 12 & under ride free).

🍷 Adults ages 21+ can purchase an adult beverage from a participating Occoquan restaurant and walk the festival with it! (no outside alcohol permitted)

NOTICE: Parking restrictions in Occoquan will be in effect starting Friday, September 25 at 9:00pm, in preparation for this weekend’s Fall Arts & Crafts Show.

🟡 Zone 1 - No new parking after 9pm; towing begins at 10pm
🔵 Zone 2 - No new parking after 9pm; towing begins at 11pm
🟣 Zone 3 - No new parking after 9pm; towing begins at 11:59pm

PARKING RESTRICTIONS: On September 26-27, 2026, ALL PARKING within the festival area will be closed to the public.

ROAD CLOSURES: On September 26-27, 2026, ALL STREETS within the festival area will close promptly at 8:00am and not reopen until 6:00pm at the earliest.

We appreciate the public’s help in following all Occoquan Police Department traffic direction this weekend!
