From our home to yours, Happy Easter! Christ is risen!

So many questions this week asking if we are doing an Easter show. Sadly we are not as we are currently taxi’ing on the tarmac at Salt Lake City to come home as we end our ski season! What a tough season it was with the lack of snow. But seriously, how many times can you see the same sequence playing “Peter Cottontale” on repeat?” 🤣 🐰

Stay tuned come Memorial Day for our last show on this layout as this house will be demolished come October! Do you know an organization that comes and removes existing homes? Because this is something that we would 100% consider if there is a company to come and move the existing home if you know someone who wants it. If you have an idea, feel free to message us. As we’d love to see someone take this house and use it. And no, sadly we will not pay for that as it is two to three times the cost for us to demo the house. We know what the demo cost is, and we welcome someone to come and take this existing home on their dime versus just tearing it down. Some will call this sh*tty, but sadly we’re just not in that kind of position to lose money with an expensive new build coming.

Looking forward to heading home, and we cannot wait to see our OCMD friends as it’s been a long winter! And we’re really looking forward to seeing our favorite servers and bartenders, and frequenting our favorite spots at home!

Came home for a few days and going thru off-season purchases and playing with new technology. This is going to be fun. Big things coming! Thanks to Your Pixel Store for the new enclosure!

We’re heading back out West to wrap up the ski season in Park City, and then we’ll be back full time to start working on the 250th Anniversary U.S.A. Show! As much as I hate to say it, it looks like this will be the last show on this house! Halloween and Christmas probably won’t be happening here in 2026 unfortunately. On the bright side, it looks (for now) as though we aren’t going anywhere, but we’re going to be doing some renovations here. As always, things may change, but it looks like we finally (after two years) have decided to stay here after the lots we were trying to buy just didn’t pan out.
