Country is Calling and the ocean is cooperating!

POV from the SeaBoard today, and some from the beach! Town of Ocean City - Government is hard at work after the storm, Country Calling is underway, and quite a view of what the ocean left behind (and took).

The beach may look a little different this weekend, but OC doesn’t miss a beat.

We’re back on the water and ready for a beautiful weekend of sun, sand and music!

Took a ride around town yesterday to see what the nor’easter left behind.

We checked out the concert grounds/boardwalk, walked the beach and found plenty of debris (plus a few treasures) some very cool Black Skimmers, and one heck of a beach cliff!

The ocean definitely did some rearranging this weekend.

Now we clean up, fix what needs fixing and keep going. A little battered, a little rearranged… but still here. Somehow through it all the beach sculptures remained! (Religious or not, this was pretty amazing, and the words still him)

We’re still here! The ocean came to meet us — as you can see, the harbor is just a tad high!

Weekend update: Obviously, The SeaBoard won’t be running this weekend. We’re a few deck boards and a few polyballs down (plus one that had already popped 😅), but otherwise hanging/floating in there (literally).

Not quite the weekend anyone had planned with Ocean’s Calling, but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of great food and bars in OC, we’ve heard some artists are playing at local venues!

Stay safe, stay dry, and we’ll see you back on the water soon! Fingers crossed for Country Calling!

A little late end-of-summer post… we were busy ‘Laboring’!

That’s a wrap on our 18th summer season! ❤️ We’re incredibly grateful for another year on the water and for our amazing partners, the Town of Ocean City, the beachgoers, and especially our crew who make it all happen.

It doesn’t quite feel like the season is over… The SeaBoard will still be out on weekends and festivals.

🐬🤍 Our buddy’s back!
Ocean City’s famous speckled dolphin came by to play with The SeaBoard again!

Fun fact: dolphins are known to “bow ride,” basically surfing the pressure wave created by a boat. And with The SeaBoard being a catamaran, our buddy has plenty of space between the hulls to cruise around and show off.
