UPDATE FROM THE OCEAN CITY DEMOCRATIC CLUB — PLEASE SHARE

Dear Friends:

There's less than three weeks to go until election day - November 3rd!

A few reminders:

1. NO KINGS - Saturday , October 17th, Noon - 2 pm along the 9th Street Causeway. Our friends with Indivisible OCNJ invite everyone to join them, along with millions of others throughout the country, for a final rally to defend our Democracy prior to the election. Bring patriotic, theme-related signs, flags and banners.

2. Congressional Debate Watch Party - Thursday, October 22nd , 5:30 PM , Ocean City Library. Light refreshments and live stream of the debate. The candidates will be in an empty lecture hall at Stockton University because our Congressman does not have enough respect for his constituents to allow an audience. (I couldn't resist!)

3. Zack Mullock Lawn Signs are available by contacting us by e-mail, [email protected] or Facebook. I'm happy to say they are getting in short supply but we will do everything we can to obtain them. I'm especially fond of the numerous "Republicans for Mullock" signs appearing throughout town. Let's make this the highest number of signs for a democrat in Ocean City since Congressman Hughes!

4. Vote by Mail Ballots - Remember we highly recommend placing completed ballots in the secure drop box outside City Hall. Ballots must be delivered by the time the polls close on election day. We encourage everyone to complete and deliver your VBM ballot as soon as you can.

5. Early In-Person Voting - will be conducted in Cape May County from October 24th - November 1st. More information will follow.

6. Mullock Campaign - the most vital thing we can all do is continue to reach out to friends, family members and neighbors and tell them why you are supporting Zack. I strongly believe all the momentum is with Zack but we can't let up!

Thank you all for your efforts and support and I hope to see you at the debate watch party.

Mike Dattilo, President

WHAT WOULD YOU ASK THE CANDIDATES?
Submit potential questions to [email protected] or [email protected]. Put “CD2 Questions” in the subject line.

Here’s the backstory...Zack Mullock proposed six debates, one in each county of CD2, so voters throughout this large district could hear directly from both candidates. Jeff Van Drew said no.

Instead, Van Drew agreed to one 60-minute debate with no live audience and questions selected in advance. He hasn't done an in-person town hall for years. After nearly eight years in Congress, he owes South Jersey more access and accountability.

Join us as Zack challenges Van Drew on his record, his blind loyalty to Trump and the policies affecting South Jersey families and businesses.

The debate will be livestreamed on the Hughes Center’s YouTube page and on The Press’ website.

South Jersey deserves a representative who shows up.

A GREAT DAY AT THE INDIAN SUMMER BLOCK PARTY!

Hundreds of people stopped by the Ocean City Democratic Club booth near City Hall to meet our members, pick up campaign materials and take home lawn signs. Yes the “Republicans for Mullock” signs remain very popular in Ocean City!

The highlight was a two-hour visit from our next congressman, Zack Mullock. Zack walked for blocks, greeting voters and receiving an enthusiastic welcome every step of the way. Zack and his family stopped at the city's oldest church that now houses Tabernacle Baptist Church. He also picked up some endorsements including FAITH, HOPE, & LOVE that supports Democracy for ALL.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to our volunteers who made the day such a success!
