Today, members of our Convention Center team completed CPR and AED training, gaining hands-on skills that could help save a life during an emergency.

From hosting thousands of guests each year to supporting community events, our team members at the convention center are committed to providing a safe environment for residents and visitors alike. Thank you to everyone who participated and took the time to learn these lifesaving skills.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. Stop by the Fireman’s Memorial at North Division Street throughout the weekend to view the military wreath display. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸

We’re thrilled to be back for another great season on the beach!
Lifeguards are on duty daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM and are here to help keep you safe. Don’t hesitate to ask them about beach conditions, rip currents, or any potential hazards on your beach.
As you head into the holiday weekend, please remember:
🏖️ Keep your feet in the sand until the lifeguard’s in the stand
🌊 Always swim near a lifeguard

Max the Fire Dog spent part of his morning visiting our Recreation & Parks team as they work hard to make Ocean City look its best for another busy summer season!

From planting colorful flowers to keeping our parks beautiful, these employees are helping make our town brighter every day. Max was happy to stop by, soak up some attention, and thank the crew for all they do behind the scenes.

Each year, the Ocean City Beautification Committee searches for properties which are attractive, well maintained and pleasing to the eye. The committee is seeking nominations for the 2026 Beauty Spot Awards! 🌷

OCBC asks that the submission include the property owner’s name, street address, and a contact phone number for the property owner. Additionally, please include your name and phone number so that the location and information can be verified, and a photo of the property.
