Scrapbooking Event Helps Feed Ocean Shores Families

Those attending this October’s Creative Memories Scrapbooking event (a.k.a. Croptoberfest) did more than preserve memories. They also raised both food and funds for the Ocean Shores Food Bank.

This year’s contributions came at a crucial time, helping us bolster our shelves as we head into the busy holiday season. The donations gathered through Croptoberfest directly support families across Ocean Shores and the North Beach, ensuring that more neighbors have reliable access to nutritious food when they need it most.

We are grateful to everyone who participated and chose to turn creativity into community care. Your generosity makes a real difference.

The Ocean Shores Food Bank Mini Golf Tournament was a sunny, fun-filled day on the links, and our community made it shine even brighter. The sh***un tee-off begins at 4:00 p.m., so gather your team, practice your swing, and prepare for a great day on the course. Tickets are just $25 per person and are available now at Ocean Sunset Drug (121 E Chance a La Mer NE).

This year’s tournament promises plenty of excitement:
• Costume Contest – Show off your creativity and team spirit.
• No Host B**r & W**e – Relax and enjoy refreshments while you play.
• Winner’s Trophy – Claim bragging rights and take home the prize.
• Raffle Drawings – Win fantastic prizes throughout the event.

Estate Sale to Benefit the Ocean Shores Food Bank

This weekend, join us for a special community event on September 12–13, 2026, at 283 Overlake St NE in Ocean Shores. This two‑day estate sale will donate all profits to support the Ocean Shores Food Bank and the neighbors we serve.

The sale runs:
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Shoppers will find a wide variety of quality items, including outdoor furniture sets, kitchenware, household furniture, linens, and plenty of unique treasures and one‑of‑a‑kind finds.
