🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE — THIS IS NOT A TIRE DISPOSAL!

We are extremely frustrated to see tires being placed inside and around the debris containers that were provided to help residents dispose of debris from the recent microburst in West Odessa.

These containers were made available specifically to assist with storm-related debris cleanup. Tires are not permitted to be dumped in or around these containers.

Because of the continued misuse, the containers will be removed sooner than originally announced. This means residents who still need to dispose of eligible microburst debris will have less time to do so.

⚠️ Enforcement action will be taken against anyone caught illegally disposing of tires at these locations. Please do not place tires in the containers, beside the containers, or anywhere else at the debris sites.

We understand cleanup after a storm can be frustrating, and these containers were provided as a resource to help our community. Please help us keep them available for their intended purpose and dispose of tires through an appropriate tire disposal/recycling option.

Do the right thing. Don't turn storm debris cleanup into an illegal dumping problem.
