Thank you to the Midland Baptist Crisis Center for inviting us out to do a demonstration on how a person should properly use a fire extinguisher at their monthly Senior Day! (Don't worry, these were water type extinguishers and do not harm the environment).

When using a fire extinguisher, remember PASS:

P — Pull the pin
A — Aim at the base of the fire
S — Squeeze the handle
S — Sweep from side to side

Remember: Only use an extinguisher if the fire is small, you have a clear escape route, and it is safe to do so. If the fire grows or you are unsure, get out and call 911.

It's was wonderful to see so many people in attendance!! Should you be interested in a class or presentation, feel free to reach out to us at 432-299-2199

Thank you to the Baptist Crisis Center Director Michelle Martinez for putting a great fire safety panel today!

It was great seeing Midland Fire Marshall Rocky Guzman as he provided local statistics and great information.

The Lobo team was there to share in home knowledge on fire extinguishers and smoke detectors as well as awareness overall.

What a great way to kick of October as Fire Prevention Month!!
