The United States Air Force has tested an unarmed Mk21A reentry vehicle aboard a Minotaur rocket, supporting the development of a next-generation capability for the future intercontinental ballistic missile system.

🔬 Behind the mission: The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center leads the Mk21A acquisition effort, synchronizing nuclear materiel management in support of and Air Force Global Strike Command.

To effectively sustain our global , we continually test and assess our warfighters and capabilities.

Joint Force wargames like Home Game and engagements with interagency and other partners help gather decision-quality data and direct resources for maximum effect.

CNA welcomed more than 100 attendees from across the USG interagency and more than 50 organizations to our headquarters to play HOME GAME. This wargame engaged participants on the critically important topic of sustaining vital US missions in the event of our homeland facing active disruptions. Our team leveraged its deep expertise in wargaming and our relationships across the interagency to support the Department of War and our whole-of-government partners in this critical endeavor.
