Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department The Ogallala Fire Department was founded in 1913 and covers 458 square miles of varied terrain.

Our members respond to structural fires, wildland fires, vehicle accidents, water rescue, and emergency medical calls.

FYI folks!
Upcoming events at the station. Help us support the Volleyball program by stopping by and getting your vehicle shined up and washed on August 29. The team is raising money for uniforms and equipment. Proceeds all go to the Volleyball girls.

Sept 12 we’re doing an open house and walking in support of the 9/11 victims and heroes. The community is invited to walk with us in honor of those we’ll never forget…

We appreciate the support from our great community and look forward to seeing you at these events!

Don’t forget the OVFD pulled pork feed/ open house event today. Stop by 409 East 2nd from 11 am until 2 pm, meet local responders, check out the apparatus, eat a yummy lunch and top it off with some soft serve ice cream for dessert.
