Virtual Fishing Tournament Registration is now open on Zsuite registration is $20 until November 15th

🎣 Registration open: Oklahoma 4-H Virtual Trout Derby

Grab your fishing gear and hit the water from anywhere in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma 4-H Virtual Trout Derby is open to active 4-H’ers in grades 3-12, with competition running Nov. 16 through Jan. 18. Cloverbuds can join the fun, too, at no cost for bragging rights!

Are you planning to show at the Oklahoma Youth Expo? Nomination kit numbers for goat, sheep, steer, and hog exhibitors must be turned in to the Okfuskee County Extension Office by October 28th!

💲 Nomination kits are $20 each.

Please make sure your kit numbers are turned in before the deadline! If you have any questions, contact the Okfuskee County OSU Extension Office.

🍀 Northeast District Youth in Action Leadership Conference! 🍀

Yesterday, three of our Okfuskee County 4-H teens returned home after attending the Northeast District Youth in Action Leadership Conference! 💚

We are so proud of these young leaders for taking the opportunity to grow their leadership skills, meet other 4-H members, make new friends, and create memories along the way! 🌟

We can’t wait to see how they put their new skills and experiences to work in their clubs, our county, and beyond!

Cadence Smith showed courage, confidence, and strong leadership by running for the position alongside five other talented 4-H youth. Although she was not selected, her willingness to step forward and share her ideas is a wonderful accomplishment. 🌟

We can’t wait to see all the ways these three continue to grow as leaders and make a difference in 4-H and beyond! 💚🤍

Registration is OPEN for the Oklahoma 4-H Health & Wellness Discovery Day! This year’s theme, Mission Possible, invites 4-H members in 6th grade and up, volunteers and parents to accept the mission of exploring health, wellness and future careers in health on Saturday, November 7, at the OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. Youth will tour the medical school, meet health professionals, and experience hands-on learning designed to help them discover the many possibilities in the health and wellness field.
Throughout the day, participants will practice CPR and chest compressions, explore human anatomy, try medical equipment, experience health careers through virtual reality, participate in a farm-to-fork nutrition activity, build a take-home wellness kit and learn from 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors.
Registration is $20 and includes light morning refreshments, lunch, a T-shirt and workshop materials. The event is open to youth and adults, 6th grade and up, and registration closes October 30 at 5:00 p.m. Please encourage your 4-H families to register through ZSuites and join us for Mission Possible!

🏹 Congratulations to the Okfuskee County 4-H Archery Team! 🏹

We are so proud of our 4-H members who traveled to the Payne County 4-H Fun Shoot and represented Okfuskee County! They put their skills, focus, and hard work to the test and brought home some great results! 🎯👏
