Oklahoma Parent-Child Assistance Program - OKC

o pregnant and parenting women over a period of three (3) years to help them through SUD treatment and recovery, connect them to community resources to empower them to keep their children safely in their custody, avoid criminal justice involvement, and ensure that any future children are not exposed to substances. Beginning in 2023, PCAP will provide three (3) years of case management and home visiting to pregnant and parenting mothers with substance use disorders as part of a randomized control trial (RCT). The OKC PCAP will recruit 100 women for the study: 50 will be randomized into the program and 50 will be referred to services without the PCAP intervention. The data generated from the study will provide quality evidence about the programs’ effectiveness and justify its expansion into other areas of the state. The Oklahoma City PCAP (OKC PCAP) serves pregnant and parenting women in the Oklahoma City metro area and those living within a 40 mile radius, encompassing parts of Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Kingfisher, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, and Pottawatomie counties.
