I was invited to speak to the Advanced Power Alliance today. They are a regional trade association of companies that invest in energy. In Oklahoma the vast majority of their investments are in wind, solar, energy storage, and transmission infrastructure.

• Oklahoma ranks #2 or #3 in installed wind
capacity. Texas is one followed by Oklahoma.

• In 2021 42% of Oklahoma's electricity was sourced from wind.

Outdated and insufficient infrastructure is preventing consumers from enjoying affordable, reliable power. Expanding and upgrading the grid is key to keeping costs down by ensuring can be transported from areas of high production to areas of high demand.
