Join us for an Epic field trip to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, Oct. 22! 🏞️

Epic students and families are invited to explore the beauty of the Wichita Mountains while learning about Oklahoma’s wildlife and natural history. 🦬

During the visit, park staff will share the history of the refuge and lead an educational demonstration featuring animal skins and skulls.

Looking for a fun way to get outside this fall? 🍂🌳

Join Epic students and families on Friday, Nov. 6, for a field trip to Martin Park Nature Center in Oklahoma City!

Explore the nature center, take a walk along the scenic trails and enjoy the nature-themed playground. Families are also welcome to bring a sack lunch for a picnic at the park! 🥾

⚠️ Threatening or intimidating behavior
🚫 Social exclusion
📱 Hurtful messages or posts
💬 Spreading rumors
📸 Sharing embarrassing content
📲 Repeated unwanted contact
⚠️ Physical aggression
🏫 Other behavior that causes harm or disrupts a student's ability to participate in school

Pay attention to changes.

A student experiencing bullying may show changes in:
📚 School engagement
📅 Attendance or participation
💭 Mood or behavior
👥 Friendships or relationships
💬 Communication
💻 Willingness to participate in virtual activities

If something doesn't feel right, talk to a trusted adult.

His dedication to martial arts has helped him build confidence and work through challenges including social and separation anxiety. Now, Maxwell hopes to one day become a coach and use his love of taekwondo to help others grow, too.

We’re proud to see Maxwell pursuing something he loves while already thinking about how he can give back to others. 💙

On Oct. 27 from 6-6:30 p.m., Epic Superintendent, Dr. Shaun Ross, will host a virtual town hall for Epic families, where he will provide an update on the state of our school, discuss some of the work underway and share where we are headed.

Seating for this event is limited, so register as soon as you can, and make sure you leave any questions you'd like Dr. Ross to address. He will answer as many as he can.

🎮 Epic Games Club is back with a new leader!

Please join us in welcoming Milo Ocampo, who will be leading Games Club and bringing this virtual opportunity back to Epic students.

Games Club gives students a chance to connect and game with fellow Epic students online. Students will need a Nintendo Switch or another compatible gaming console to fully participate in Minecraft activities.
