We want to welcome the newest member to our Young Professional Board! 🎉

Paige Pettigrew has degrees in Forensic Science and Criminal Justice and a passion for justice. She also loves being a fur mama to her elderly pug Louie and watching birds and squirrels in her backyard.

Paige shared, “ I have been interested in the criminal justice/law enforcement field since I was very young. My dad is an Oklahoma State Trooper and law enforcement runs in my family. I knew since middle school this was the only profession I wanted to be in, and that has never changed” ⚖️💙

Help us welcome a rising star to the Path Young Professional Board 🤩

Emma Eisenhour comes to us from El Reno, she works at the Canadian County District Attorney’s Office and has a heart to for victim advocacy and has a desire to help victims find their voice and be heard. 🫂

Emma says, “Sometimes strength is simply continuing to move forward. I never want another survivor to feel as though their experiences or emotions do not matter…I have always believed we never truly understand what another person is facing behind closed doors. Because of that I strive to approach others with compassion and respect, recognizing that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference is someone’s life.” 💙

💙 Congratulations Haden on successfully completing the ChildFirst Forensic Interviewing Training💙

As an advocate, it is so important to fully understand the roles and functions of our multidisciplinary team (MDT). This knowledge helps us better listen to children and caregivers, answer questions, provide support, and build meaningful connections with the children and families who come through our doors.

Through this training, Haden has gained valuable tools, skills, and knowledge that will enhance her ability to serve the children and families in our community with compassion and excellence.

Her commitment to continued learning and professional growth strengthens our mission to provide advocacy and hope for every child we serve. We are grateful for her dedication and proud of this accomplishment!

The PATH Children’s Advocacy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to serve as our next Executive Director. This part-time position offers an opportunity to support children and families, strengthen community partnerships, and help guide The PATH CAC as it works toward accreditation.

What a great week for The PATH CAC ! 🎉 (It's Vicki so this is a looong post....sorry but thank you for sticking with me and reading til the end!!😉)

We have SO much to be thankful for and celebrate:

✅ Our VOCA funding has been renewed for another year! This funding is critical to our mission, helping ensure that our forensic interviewers and family advocate can continue serving children and families impacted by abuse. It also helps keep Joey on the road, allowing us to provide support, resources, and services to our partner counties and others who call on us when they need assistance.

🏕️ Our neighboring park rangers were SO gracious to secure Joey a spot at an Oklahoma State Park, offering us shade in this crazy 100+ weather. We are so grateful for your support and partnership across the state!

🤝 We had the opportunity to tour and reconnect with our friends at Abbott House Child Advocacy Center. We always enjoy spending time with fellow professionals who share our passion for serving children and families. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership, friendship, and the meaningful work they do every day on behalf of children in their community. We love you all and appreciate the difference you make!

🏠 We are so happy to be able to offer interviews and advocacy in a child trauma informed space at our newer location in Weatherford! To be able to serve our families, LE, and CPS in Custer and Wash*ta Counties as been a dream come true!! We continue to be overwhelmed by the expansion of our agency to partner with these 2 counties in District 2!!! 💙

🚐 Joey is also getting some much-needed attention from Lighthouse Automotive LLC, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Thank you for generously donating your time and expertise to make upgrades and complete work on Joey. Your support helps ensure we can continue traveling across the state to assist child abuse professionals and provide services where they're needed most. Not only do we trust you with the care and maintenance of Joey, but we also appreciate that you truly understand and believe in our mission. Your commitment to helping us serve others means more than words can express.

💙 As we wrap up the week, we're reminded that our work is only possible because of the incredible support of our funders, community partners, and local businesses that stand alongside us. Thank you to our staff, board, and everyone who helps us continue serving children, families, and professionals across Oklahoma. We are truly blessed by your support!

We are excited to share that we have been awarded VOCA funding for another year.

We are so thankful for the District Attorneys Council, the VOCA Board, and VOCA staff. We recognize the tremendous responsibility the Board carries in determining how limited funding can best support so many deserving programs across Oklahoma.

This funding enables us to continue delivering critical services to children and families in our community.

It is also a powerful reminder of how important these grants are and why ongoing fundraising efforts and community support remain essential.

Thank you for believing in our work and our mission. Thank you all for walking this PATH with us. 💙

A huge thank you to First Baptist Church of Weatherford for choosing The PATH CAC as the recipient of this year’s VBS missions project!

Throughout the week, the children brought donations to help support the work we do. We are so grateful—not only for the financial support, but also for the love, compassion, and generosity these children showed by giving to other kids. ✨🩵
