The Federal TA Policy for Soldiers has changed effective 6 Aug 2018. The new policy eliminates the one year wait and now Soldiers can use Federal TA upon graduation from AIT, OCS or BOLC. Soldiers that used Federal TA for any portion of their Bachelor's Degree no longer have to wait until they have 10 years in the Army. As soon as the Soldier completes either the Advance Leadership Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course or the Captains Career Course they may apply for Federal TA for their Graduate Degree. Call Mr. Brehm, Supervisory Education Services Specialist at 405-228-5533 if you have any questions. Please share this good news with Soldiers and potential recruits.
