Take Chris. You’ll find him teaching his oldest to drive, spinning the little ones in the office chair (again), and delighting in his youngest— a son. To his kids, he’s the hero who walks through the door. They can’t get to him fast enough!

His story holds both grief and joy. After losing his first wife to cancer, Chris walked the tender road of single fatherhood. Years later, after marrying Sarah, his family grew through adoption. Now Rachel, Sophie, and Trey, each carry their own unique story, and Chris’s name.

🎉 We recently celebrated the finalization of Trey’s adoption, which comes with all the rights, belonging, and full embrace of sonship. When we consider the fullness of this precious role, we’re simply amazed.

Through fathers like Chris, we catch a clearer glimpse of God’s love. The kind that gives. The kind that stays. The kind that echoes for generations.

Through their journey, this family witnessed God doing the things only He can do. They saw His handiwork in each season. His peace in the waiting, His joy in the placement, and His sovereignty and provision when their adoption finalized.

Their encouragement to anyone considering adoption, or walking through a season they didn’t expect, is simple and powerful: put your “Yes” on God’s table. Trust that He can handle your doubts and fears. We all have things in our lives we can point to and say, 👉 “this is because of God.” Remind yourself of those moments often and stand on the truth that He won’t stop being faithful now.

Meet Jarrod and Hannah—a couple whose love for each other and their son shines through in everything they do. 💚

Hannah is the best mommy. She's selfless, loving, and nurturing, and Jarrod can't wait to watch her embrace those same qualities with another child. Jarrod is a wonderful, dedicated father who's always helping their son grow and learn, while making time to play and simply enjoy life together. 👨‍👩‍👦

One of their favorite traditions? Traveling! Each year they take a special trip around their son's birthday, and they're so excited to share new adventures with another little one someday. ✈️

Jarrod and Hannah felt led to adoption through prayer and their faith, and they're waiting with open, hopeful hearts.
