The McDonald-Scott Chevrolet Building was designed and constructed in 1937 for the sales and service of automobiles just like most of the surrounding buildings in at the time. The brick building design with large display windows, vehicular entrances, and barrel roof are key features that help define Automobile Alley.
The building operated for many years, but over time traded hands several times and is now in its rehabilitation process. The building is set to reopen as a large capacity event center in 2023 called Amelia. We couldn't be more excited to welcome it back to .

The Amelia Building on Automobile Alley.
The McDonald-Scott Chevrolet building was constructed c.1937. Preserving many of the historic industrial features and blending with modern finishes, we are able to balance and maintain the building’s place as a focal point in the historic Automobile Alley.
