Due to unforeseen circumstances, the College Democrats of Oklahoma spring graduation has been cancelled. Thank you to all of our phenomenal graduates that have spent countless hours working with us, fighting for the better good. They have offered us guidance, strength, and encouragement, even when they were flooded with finals and fighting their own battles. We wish we could celebrate them in many more ways. Thank you, graduates, for all that you do! We wish you luck and the utmost support! 💙

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, founded in 1999, to honor the lives of transgender, non-binary, and gender fluid individuals that were brutally killed due to discrimination and anti-transgender violence. This day of memorial is to bring attention to all the hatred and absurd violence that is faced by the transgender community. Today offers us a moment of silence to remember the thousands of lives lost, but do not forget to also use this day to stand together and raise awareness to this global struggle.

In light of the recent death of Charlie Kirk, the College Democrats of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Federation of College Republicans have come together once again to present a united front against violence. As the next generation, it is up to us to make it clear that we will not tolerate acts of violence. Today, we are not Democrats or Republicans, but students who are working together to build a better future.
