Early detection of oral cancer can improve patient outcomes.

The ADA, in collaboration with The Center for Integrative Global Oral Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine has provided newly-updated recommendations on the appropriate use of cytology, vital staining, light-based and salivary adjuncts. These guidelines are intended to help inform clinical decision making by clinicians and patients.

In 1973, a typical dental plan offered an annual maximum of $1,000 to $1,500. Today, many plans still use that same range, despite decades of inflation and rising health care costs. The result? Your dental benefits don’t go nearly as far as they once did.
Contact your legislators and ask them to support legislation for meaningful dental insurance reform that puts patients first.

Be prepared when every second counts.

ODA presents Essential CPR & Basic Life Saving Training with Armor CPR on Friday, October 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Oklahoma Dental Association office in Oklahoma City.

This hands-on, in-person course is designed for dental professionals, but is open to anyone. The course is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry.

Registration fees:
• ODA Members and their staff: $119 per person
• ODA New Dentist Members (graduated 2016 or later): $95 per person
• Non-Member dentists and their staff: $179 per person

All supplies will be provided.

Pre-registration is required. Register today at okda.org/events and make sure you’re prepared to respond when it matters most.
