📢 Important Installation Gate Changes

Due to increased Security Forces deployments and operational requirements, Tinker AFB will be implementing phased adjustments to installation gate operations. Personnel are encouraged to plan ahead and monitor the Tinker App for the latest gate information and updates.

Phase 1: Effective 28 September 2026

Reduced operating hours for non-24-hour gates:

🔹 Eaker Gate: 0530-1700
🔹 Lancer Gate: 0500-1700
🔹 Piazza Gate: 0500-1700
🔹 Vance Gate: 0530-1700
🔹 Truck Gate: 0600-1500

No changes during Phase 1:

🔹 Marauder Gate: 1400-1600 (Mon-Fri), outbound only
🔹 Liberator Gate: 0530-0830 and 1400-1600 (Mon-Fri)

Phase 2: Effective 30 November 2026

🚧 Eaker Gate will close
🚧 Marauder Gate will close

As traffic patterns adjust, please allow additional travel time and consider alternate entry and exit routes as necessary. Be sure to check the Tinker App for the most current gate status and operating hours.

From the OC-ALC. And please note on the attached that ( #3) "Commanders and directors MAY encourage liberal leave. Not "must" or "shall".

This year the TAFB Liberal Leave Days includes 27 Nov, the day after Thanksgiving (attached).

OC-ALC leadership would like to allow any employee that desires to use Annual Leave on that day the option to do so, without restrictions on manning.

Please work with your employees to allow them to utilize this as an option for their annual leave forecast. If already submitted, please allow an opportunity to adjust annual leave schedules.

Taking this into consideration, overtime for the weekend of 28-29 Nov should be kept to volunteers only and as minimal as possible to allow employees to enjoy the holiday weekend with their families.

I’m sure you’ve heard many supervisors claiming that TAFBI 48-101 was rescinded and to no longer follow it.

On Thursday, 30 July 2026 at 1546, after the Union became aware and issued a Demand to Bargain regarding this recension, The OC-ALC directed ALL Supervisors in an e-mail directly to all supervisors, to follow the instruction. And to not make any changes
