"Grief doesn’t end. It changes. And some days, it asks to be felt all over again.”

Some days, grief sits quietly in the background. Some days, a memory brings a smile before the tears.

And some days, without warning, the weight of missing them feels just as heavy as it did in the beginning.

There is no timeline for grief. No day when you are supposed to stop missing them. No point when saying their name, sharing their story, or wishing they were still here becomes something you should have “moved past.”

At Green Star Families of America, we see you. We remember with you. And we will always remember that your Veteran was so much more than the way they died.

Their life was bigger than their final chapter.
