The Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Training Ambulance brings advanced, hands-on EMS education directly to providers and departments helping build skills, confidence, stronger responders, and safer communities.

From virtual reality scenarios and specialty equipment to mental health, substance use disorder awareness, CPR, AED, Narcan training, and more, this mobile classroom is built to prepare EMS professionals for the real world.

Join us August 22–23 for the NAEMT Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course in Old Forge.

PHTLS is recognized worldwide as the leading continuing education program for prehospital trauma care. Developed by NAEMT in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma, this course focuses on critical thinking, rapid assessment, and evidence-based trauma management to improve patient outcomes.

Topics include:
• Physiology of life and death
• Scene and patient assessment
• Hemorrhage control
• Airway management
• Breathing, ventilation, and oxygenation
• Circulation and shock
• Special populations

This Course is a 2 day class.
This class is grant funded so there is no cost to sign up

Class is located at the Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance CORPS.
