Detective Moore, P.O. Puglisi and P.O. Woods stopped by Old Tappan KinderCare for their Fall Festival! The kids are enjoying pony rides, farm animals, a train ride, and plenty of fall fun.

A special thank you to Jessica Epstein, Director of Old Tappan KinderCare, for having us! We’re always happy to spend time with the community and be part of events that bring everyone together.

A big thank you to the Chang family, Aiden, Lucas, and Sarah, for stopping by and dropping off a ton of food for our officers! Sgt. Reilly and P.O. Fazliu were happy to help accept the delivery.

We’re starting to think our residents are making it their mission to keep the Old Tappan Police Department well fed! The Chang family even made sure our night tour officers had plenty to enjoy, too!

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community. Thank you, Chang family, for thinking of all of us!

The Old Tappan Police Department would like to remind all residents and parents that temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place during Halloween trick-or-treating.

Country Squire Rd will be closed to vehicle traffic within the designated area.

🚔 INCREASED POLICE PRESENCE

The Old Tappan Police Department will have additional patrols throughout the community during both day and night tours to help ensure a safe Halloween for our residents and visitors.

Parents and trick-or-treaters are reminded to:

* Use sidewalks whenever possible

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Task Force visited CDW School to speak with our 7th and 8th grade students about Internet Safety and responsible online behavior.

Students learned about social media, protecting personal information, cyberbullying, sexting, and other potential dangers they may encounter online. The presentation provided valuable information to help our students make safe and responsible decisions in the digital world.

A special thank you to the Bergen Co. Prosecutor's Office for taking the time to educate our students and help keep our community safe.
