Reminder for tomorrow for registered voters.

Registered voters assigned to vote at the Community Room for in-person voting on Tuesday, November 3rd are advised that Fitch Road is currently closed north of the Township Offices/Community Room entrance. As a result, all access to the Community Room must be made via Bagley Road. Voters should enter Fitch Road from Bagley Road to reach the polling location.

Please note that some GPS systems may provide incorrect detour directions, so voters are encouraged not to rely solely on GPS routing when traveling to the site and to plan accordingly to ensure timely arrival at the polls.

Please plan accordingly.

Tomorrow afternoon, the parking lot at the dog park will be temporarily closed for a few hours while the lot is restriped. We don’t have an exact timeframe, but we don’t anticipate the closure lasting more than a couple of hours.

If you arrive and the lot is closed, you can park in the lot near the red barn by Shady or along the driveway.

A huge thank you to all of our residents and community partners who joined us for our annual Halloween Open House! It was a SPOOKTACULARLY good time!

Thanks to all who brought food donations for our local food bank CIA Olmsted Falls!

All of our Township departments were well represented, and we loved seeing our residents connect with many of our Township employees! A special shoutout to the Olmsted Township Fire Department, Olmsted Township Police, and Building and Service Departments for helping make the day so much fun.

And an extra-special THANK YOU to Angelina's Pizza Olmsted Twp., Swings-N-Things, and DJ Kenny G for helping make the event a resounding success!

The Olmsted Township Board of Trustees will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Room, 7900 Fitch Rd, Olmsted Twp.

Proposed Amendment No. 1 to the Olmsted Joint Economic Development District (JEDD) Contract between Olmsted Township and the City of Olmsted Falls would amend the existing JEDD to add property identified as Cuyahoga County Permanent Parcel No. 264-210-61 to the JEDD territory.

The proposed amendment would facilitate economic development and mixed-use development within the additional territory and promote regional cooperation and economic development between Olmsted Township and the City of Olmsted Falls. The proposed amendment is being considered pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72 and the existing Olmsted Joint Economic Development District Contract.

Copies of the proposed Amendment No. 1 and related documents are available for review at the Olmsted Township Administrative Offices, 7900 Fitch Road, during normal business hours, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

The opportunity to be heard will be afforded to any person attending the public hearing. If you cannot attend but would like to submit a letter to be read on your behalf, please have the letter present no later than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting.
