🌩️📚 Today's weather is giving "dark and stormy novel" energy. Fortunately, the atmosphere at Book Club today at Noon is much friendlier. 😊

We're embracing Spooky Season Reads, but don't let the theme scare you away. Whether you're reading a chilling horror novel, a cozy romance, an epic fantasy, an intriguing mystery, or a fascinating work of nonfiction, we'd love to hear about it.

Join us for good conversation, great recommendations, and a chance to connect with fellow book lovers. ☕🎃📚

Our work-study student, Sebastian, is helping welcome these new arrivals to the shelves. They're settling in nicely, but they're already looking forward to meeting readers across campus.

🎃📚 Ghosts, monsters, creepy mysteries... or maybe just that book that's been haunting your TBR pile. 👀

Join us for our October BYO Book Club and share a favorite spooky season read, a current read, or a recent finish. Not into spooky books? That's okay! All genres and formats are welcome.

👻 No assigned books. Just frightfully good book talk and fang-tastic recommendations.

📚 Some of the most frequently challenged books are also some of the most widely read.

Titles like The Bluest Eye, Animal Farm, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, and The Handmaid's Tale continue to spark discussion because they tackle complex ideas and difficult questions.

This Banned Books Week, we invite you to explore our display in the Learning Commons and celebrate the freedom to read, learn, and think critically.

📚✨ Happy Banned Books Week! ✨📚

This week, we celebrate the freedom to read and the power of stories to inform, challenge, inspire, and connect us. Libraries play an important role in ensuring access to diverse perspectives and ideas for all readers.

Today we remember the victims of September 11, 2001, and honor the bravery of first responders, service members, and ordinary citizens who acted with extraordinary courage.

Featured in our collection are stories of survival, sacrifice, and resilience that help preserve the history and human experiences of that day. As we mark this anniversary, we reflect on the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the strength that carried communities forward.
