The Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees is now accepting applications for a member-at-large position from Thurston County.

This is an inter‐county rural library district board of seven trustees that are appointed by the joint action of the Boards of County Commissioners from five counties, including Grays Harbor County, Lewis County, Pacific County, Mason County and Thurston County.

👉The appointment is for a seven-year term
👉Appointment is made by joint action of the Boards of County Commissioners of all five member districts listed above.

📢Registration is now open for the Energize Thurston Grant Program!

Through a partnership with South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity, Energize Thurston provides heat pumps and heat pump water heaters for qualifying low- and moderate-income households throughout Thurston County. This is made possible by grant funding from the WA Climate Commitment Act.

The first step: Attend one of the free educational workshops.

If you're already signed up, you may receive a test notification during the testing period.

No action is needed when you receive the test.

The test helps us make sure the system is working as intended and gives residents an opportunity to become familiar with emergency notifications.

The Thurston County Veterans Assistance Program (VAP) is pleased to announce the 2027 – 2028 Veteran Project Grant.

This grant supports community-based projects that enhance the quality of life for indigent veterans and their families in Thurston County.

Through this funding, Thurston County seeks to address unmet needs, promote long-term stability, and foster equitable outcomes for all veterans.
