Dive In: Earn Service Learning Hours at Orca Recovery Day!

Thanks to everyone who made our first event last month awesome!

Saturday, October 17th | 10 am–2 pm | Squaxin Park, Olympia

Plant Pacific Northwest trees and shrubs to restore forested habitat for endangered Southern Resident orcas, take a guided shore walk, enjoy refreshments, and connect with other orca-loving people!

Why Orca Recovery Day?
Southern Resident orcas are endangered. One of their biggest threats is that their main food, salmon, is endangered too. Salmon makes up about 80% of their diet. Habitat loss, climate change, and increased pollution have reduced local salmon populations to a fraction of what they used to be. By working together, we still have time to save the orcas and the salmon that feed them.

You can help by restoring critical habitat, planting native shrubs and trees, collecting trash along roads and beaches, or doing anything that leaves the environment better than you found it.

How to Join
All ages welcome, bring your friends and family!
